Weekend getaway search
Find weekend getaways that fit the time you actually have
Search short breaks by usable destination time, realistic airport access, stops, baggage, and the return you need.
Find a random weekend tripA weekend getaway is a time problem before it is a destination problem. The useful question is not only how long the flight takes, but how much of the weekend remains after airport travel, check-in, connections, and the journey home.
Measure usable destination time
Write down the earliest realistic departure and the latest return that will not damage the next day. Include travel to and from the airport. Compare options by the hours available at the destination, not only by the dates printed on the ticket.
Prefer simple itineraries for short breaks
Nonstop flights often protect limited time, but a well-timed one-stop option can still work. Look at the complete elapsed journey and the connection buffer. Avoid treating a risky self-transfer as equivalent to a protected connection on one ticket.
Choose the departure airport deliberately
A closer airport can save more time than a lower fare saves money. If several airports are available, add parking, transit, border, and transfer time to the comparison. The right airport is the one that improves the whole weekend.
Pack the fare you intend to buy
A personal-item fare can work for a compact break, but only if the allowance matches your bag. Compare carry-on fees, seat rules, and the checkout total. Do not assume that two similarly priced tickets include the same things.
Build a shortlist you can act on
Keep only options that pass the timing, budget, and journey tests. Review current availability and final terms before booking.
