How Random Flight Finder labels flight prices
What live, recently checked, estimated, unavailable, and provider-status labels mean before you leave for a booking partner.
A flight price needs context. The label beside a fare explains how the number was obtained and what still needs to happen before it can be booked.
Live and recently checked
Live means the provider verified the fare during the current search. Recently checked means the fare was verified earlier and includes an age. Both can still change before checkout.
Estimated and unavailable
Estimated prices are directional and require confirmation. Unavailable means the displayed option can no longer be treated as bookable and should not lead to a stale handoff.
Provider not connected
If current fare information is unavailable, do not rely on placeholders or estimated booking prices. Refresh the search before comparing options or booking.
